PCB LOADER

SUMMARY

Responsible for all production activities of the Loading area in order to complete the assigned work order correctly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Activities include but not limited to:

  • Pulling ready to load kits with assigned work order numbers from the staging shelf.
  • Identify and check the value of all components to the Bill of Materials (B.O.M.).
  • Using assembly work instruction, B.O.M., and print, load boards paying attention to detail and instructions of these documents.
  • Place completed work order on cart for pre-wave inspection.
  • Comply with IPC 610 specifications.

BOARD PREP

SUMMARY

Responsible for all production activities of the Board Prep area in order to complete the assigned work order correctly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Activities include but not limited to:

  • Ensure boards have been baked for a minimum of 4 hours in the oven.
  • Mask bare boards on locations highlighted on bare board drawing.
  • Install other components (i.e., connectors, stand offs, pem nuts, terminals, etc.) per board prep instructions.
  • Cut traces if necessary.
  • Tape (mask) gold fingers and others if required.
  • Place completed prepped and labeled boards on the staging shelf.
  • Comply with IPC 610 specifications.

TOUCH UP/REWORK TECHNICIAN

SUMMARY

Responsible for all production activities of the Touch Up area in order to complete the assigned work order correctly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Activities include but not limited to:
  • Pull work order from touch up staging shelf.
  • Check Manufacturing Process Instruction (M.P.I.), Assembly Work Instructions, and the print.
  • Follow instructions from these documents to complete the work order.
  • Hand solder other parts and jumpers as required by the print or MPI.
  • Comply with IPC 610 specifications.
  • After completion, take a work order to water clean machine and run the job through the machine or hand clean if necessary.
  • Place work order on the Second Assembly staging shelf.

MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER

SUMMARY

Responsible for all production activities of the electromechanical assembly area in order to complete the assigned work order correctly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pull kits with assigned work order numbers from the staging shelf. 
  • Identify and count all components, (standoffs, screws, washers, etc.) according to the Bill of Materials (B.O.M.).
  • Assemble boards paying attention to detail and instructions from the assembly work instructions, B.O.M., and the print.
  • Machine or hand clean assemblies as needed. 
  • Work with the following: Box Build, Hand/Electrical tools, Press Fit, Hardware, Cable Harness.

QA INSPECTOR

SUMMARY

The inspection of all products produced in manufacturing. Works with limited supervision. May assist in training support of other inspectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The in process and final inspection of all products produced in manufacturing and attributes of those products verses the documentation of the requirements of those products as identified in the Quality System
  • Records non-conformities and notifies management pending the resolution of those non-conformities
  • Records the inspection completion status and moves the products to the proper designated location
  • File documentation and records inspection data

HARNESS CABLE ASSEMBLER

SUMMARY

Responsible for all production activities of the cable harness electro-mechanical assembly area in order to complete the assigned work order correctly and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pull kits with assigned work order numbers from the staging shelf.
  • Identify and count all components (connectors, contacts, screws, washers, etc.) according to the Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Using assemble drawings, work instruction, BOM, and print, assemble cable harnesses paying attention to detail and instructions from these documents.

  • Work with the following:
    • Cable harnesses
    • Label printers
    • Hand/Electrical tools

TEST OPERATOR

SUMMARY

Under limited supervision, responsible for the testing of all printed circuit board products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares test equipment and setups  
  • Performs functional, In-Circuit and cable scan tests; documents the results

SUMMARY

Ensure timely programming of SMT Pick-and-Place and AOI systems in a contract manufacturing environment. Identify and drive manufacturing quality and productivity throughout the factory for PCBAS and electro-mechanical assemblies while working with limited supervision. Job will grow into a broad Manufacturing Engineering position. You will be part of a team that routinely scouts for and drives continuous improvement opportunities from Receiving, Inspection through Assy, QA, Test, Failure Analysis, Packaging, and Shipping.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick-and-Place systems and Automatic Optical Inspection systems. 
  • Qualify each program. 
  • Train and assist production operators on correct setup and use of programs. 
  • Develop programming and system setup procedures and methods. 
  • Develop estimations of job size by product parameters. 
  • Determine root cause of yield problems and initiate corrective action. 
  • Collect, organize, analyze and report periodically on effectiveness of systems and programs using quality data analyzed using Excel spreadsheets and graphs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares test procedures, test equipment and setups. 
  • Performs tests and documents the results.
